1-to-1 Zoom video calls.
Let's solve your biggest creative struggles.
Hello! I'm Jason Arnopp: an author, scriptwriter and journalist, with over 35 years of experience. I've worked with great people like the Hollywood director Ron Howard, British TV genius Tony Jordan and Black Mirror creator Charlie Brooker. I've spoken at Anglia Ruskin University, MCM Comic Con, The Story Engine and Edge-Lit and read scripts for agencies including Screen East. This month, November 2023, I've decided to open up a limited batch of private one-to-one online coaching sessions to help fiction writers and journalists achieve their goals. I typically work with writers who struggle with fear or confidence issues, or sheer lack of knowledge - any of which can hold them back from fulfilling their potential. In many cases, this may simply mean getting them started. A fiction writer might be struggling to embark upon that first novel - or to finally finish one. A journalist might be struggling to write those sample reviews to send to magazine editors, or to prepare for their first ever interview. Either writer may want more of the big picture of how the industry works before they set foot into it, which is perfectly wise. Or maybe they simply would benefit from a friendly mentor to hold them accountable, when it comes to the progress they're making towards their key goals. If any of that sounds like you, then I'll be happy to help. And I've made it super-easy to see any available slots and book a call, using the automated Calendly system. You can record each of our Zoom sessions for your own personal reference. TRUST ME: ABSOLUTELY NO QUESTION IS STUPID Every single question you have in your head about writing and/or creativity has been asked by all the great writers and journalists when they first started out. MY GUARANTEE TO YOU If, during our Zoom call, you ask me a question to which I don't know the answer, but I feel that I should know, then after our chat I will find an answer from my vast network of contacts, then get back to you via email ASAP. TELL ME YOUR BIGGEST STRUGGLES During the quick and easy booking process, I'll ask a few questions about your goals and primary struggles. Your answers will help me prepare for our Zoom call, but will also ensure that I'm well placed to help you. If I don't feel that I'm the right professional to help you get the results that you need, and bring about the kind of change that will unlock and boost your writing, then I will let you know in advance of our call and refund you in full ASAP. My Zoom coaching calls are available in 60-minute and 30-minute sessions. This month, the hour-long sessions are in the mornings, while the 30-minute sessions are in the afternoons. At the time of writing, it looks very much like I won't be able to offer any further slots in December or January. Beyond those months, we'll see. Click through to Calendly to see if I have any slots left to book. I hope to meet you soon, via the gift of Zoom! Technically, by the way, you don't have to be a writer, journalist or any other creative to book a call with me on these days, but I do imagine that creatives who need help of some description will be the people who mainly take me up on this offer. :) Tedious but important legal note: if you plan to tell me the details of your own project(s) during our sessions, then the act of booking a coaching session with me signifies that you fully understand I may coincidentally already be developing similar fiction or non-fiction ideas to yours. This is unlikely, and hopefully won't be the case! Nevertheless, you'll need to check a tick-box during the booking process, to signify that you accept and understand the above. |
